PHOENIX RISING:MK provides a range of creative and community based activities for adults with disabilities and support needs.

We are based at York House, a lovely venue with an excellent reputation for its community based work in the historic and picturesque location of Stony Stratford - "The Jewel of Milton Keynes". Just a few minutes’ walk from all the amenities the town has to offer.

We now have clients (known as “group members”) from the Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, South Northants and Bedfordshire. Our diverse and comprehensive programme include: Art, Crafts, Photography, Media, Performing Arts & Activities in the community. We also run regular social opportunities including the popular monthly ‘Open Mic’ evenings at The Cock Hotel in Stony Stratford which we will be reintroducing when Covid restrictions allow.

Recently with financial support from Milton Keynes Community Foundation, we established our own on – line TV station, ‘HI VIZ TV’.  This aims to be a platform to provide a voice for adults with support needs throughout M.K.

We were delighted to hear that STONY RADIO had also recently set up home at York House and we’re keen to see how we can get involved in some way. We’d like to thank James Tully at STONY RADIO for his positive and enthusiastic response.

PHOENIX RISING:MK was established in 2015 by Directors Adrian Pinckard and Sarah Bament, both of whom have over 30 years’ experience in teaching and educational management in both the mainstream and learning disability sectors. The staff team are also highly experienced and passionate about working with adults with support needs.

We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) therefore all profits go back into helping us to support people with disabilities.
