Ken Daniels
After a career involving librarianship, IT project management, and mooching around some of the more exotic parts of the world, I landed in Stony Stratford and bought a pub.
This was The Fox & Hounds, where I introduced live music and good real ale, and so became the self-proclaimed “Juke of Stony”.
For eleven years we enjoyed the likes of Mick Abrahams, Paul Jones & Dave Kelly, Tony McPhee, bands with former members of The Specials, Selecter, Mungo Jerry, Paul Weller Band, touring American bluesmen, and many, many highly talented local and regional performers. Not just the blues: folk, jazz, classical guitar, choirs, shanty singers………
Following that, I became “Dangerously Retired” and was involved in StonyLive!, StonyWords!, and then joined the York House Centre team, where all manner of good stuff happens for the community.
Beyond that, I enjoy travel, food (cooking and eating), drinking real ale, music, literature, and the arts in general, and aubergines.
